Qudus Balogun
(Principal Partner)
Qudus Adebowale Balogun is an experienced Chartered Accountant with over a decade of progressive work experience, across multiple industries, including, Financial Services, FMCG, Agribusiness, Real Estate and most recently, Software as a Service (SaaS) business industry, Qudus has, in the past six years, served in management and senior management positions, including, growing from being a Manager for Financial Planning and Reporting to being the Vice President of Finance & Admin of the biggest EdTech startup in Nigeria and one of the biggest in Africa (uLesson). While at uLesson, he managed the due diligence process for the $15 million Series B fundraising for the firm to reach over 3 million K-12 learners and launched a virtual Open University to contribute to Nigeria’s tertiary education development.
Additionally, as the VP of Finance, he managed the finance function of the firm across its various business jurisdictions, including, the US, UK, Mauritius, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, among others. Qudus career journey also saw him through working as a Financial Analyst at FSDH Asset Management Limited (a member of the FSDH Holding Company), where he managed complex portfolio reporting, including the valuation of bonds, eurobonds, CPs, TBills, and more, to industry regulators like the CBN, SEC, and NSE. He also handled portfolio reporting for notable industry leaders in the energy sector, such as Shell Nigeria, Forte Oil, and Schlumberger.
As the Principal Consultant at Iwelabi Consulting, Qudus has been consistently engaged to provide financial models and advisory support to the team of consultants advising the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO) on the $5 billion Africa Energy Bank project. Additionally, he led a team of six to prepare a monumental N9 trillion budget for a government-private special project. With certifications in Organizational Leadership and Negotiation Mastery from the prestigious Harvard Business School Online, he continues to excel as an all-rounder accounting and finance professional.
Luqman Olatunji
(Senior Manager, Accounting and CFO Advisory Services)
Luqman Olawale Olatunji is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with over four years of progressive experience in Financial Services, Education Technology, and Consulting. His expertise spans across financial reporting, audit, corporate reporting, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on driving impactful financial initiatives.
Luqman began his career at KPMG Professional Services, where he gained foundational audit experience and rose to become the lead of his unit. He spearheaded initiatives that increased team efficiency, introduced performance management systems, and created a virtual learning center to enhance team knowledge of accounting standards.
He has served in different capacities at different organizations where he worked as an Audit Trainee, Junior Accountant, Financial Analyst, and Account Officer. Currently, as Senior Manager for CFO Advisory and Accounting Services at Iwelabi Consulting, he oversees significant financial projects, including taking active part within a team of Six (6) in the preparation of a $9 billion budget for a public-private initiative. He has led the preparation of year-end management accounts for software businesses, developed financial models for tech clients valued at $3.5 million, and prepared financial forecasts for grant-winning clients.
His role involves overseeing clients’ treasury processes to ensure effective cash management and regulatory compliance, showcasing his ability to enhance operational efficiency. Lastly, his combination of technical and leadership skills positions him as a valuable asset to every finance team.
Nurudeen Soremekun
(Technology Partner)
Nurudeen Soremekun is a highly skilled Software Engineer and the Technology Partner at Iwelabi Consulting. With over a decade of professional experience spanning industries such as finance, education, and engineering, he brings unparalleled expertise in developing cutting-edge technology solutions. A versatile engineer, Nurudeen is proficient in full-stack development, leveraging technologies such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Nurudeen has led transformative projects for organizations across the globe, including Deloitte West Africa, where he developed SaaS payroll and revenue reconciliation systems, and ESA USA, where he implemented robust API integrations and automation workflows. His contributions to the EdTech space at uLesson and Udacity showcase his ability to design scalable solutions that impact education delivery.

Her experience includes participating in the global CFA Research Challenge, where her team was the first runner-up in Nigeria, and serving as Tax Manager for the Students’ Professional Bureau of Accountancy. Jemiletu Amodu
(Associate, Accounting and CFO Advisory Services)
Jemiletu is a Chartered Accountant with over four years of multidisciplinary experience spanning financial management, advisory, and process optimization across various sectors. At ICL, she provides strategic accounting and CFO advisory services, delivering tailored solutions to fintech and service-oriented businesses.
Her professional journey began at the Bank of Agriculture, where she progressed from an intern to assistant cashier, maintaining a flawless cash management record. She further expanded her expertise at Gamp Business School, where she gained hands-on experience in accounting and finance, and at Pharmadon T&A, where she successfully designed and implemented an accounting system for a growing startup.
Jemiletu’s passion for mentorship is evident in her role at Apex Tutors, where she has guided over 3,000 ICAN candidates, fostering success through clear communication and expert guidance. She has also contributed to financial transparency and accountability through her volunteer work with Efficiency DMI, an NGO focused on sustainable development.

Babatunde Ajao
(Associate, Accounting and CFO Advisory Services)
Babatunde Ajao is a highly motivated and results-oriented accounting graduate from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is also an Associate Chartered Accountant (ICAN Graduate member) and an Associate Accounting Technician (ATSWA). With a strong foundation in financial principles, taxation, auditing, and strategic management, Babatunde possesses well-rounded skill set applicable to various finance and accounting roles.
His experience spans diverse areas, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to professional development. As a Registrar/Tutor at Springboard Associates, an ICAN tuition center, he demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills, managing student records, implementing registration procedures, and ensuring accurate fee processing for over 1,000 students. He also provided tutoring, fostering critical thinking skills in students and collaborating with colleagues to address diverse learning needs.
Babatunde’s recent internship at Iwelabi Consulting Limited, a CFO advisory and finance and accounting transformation service provider, provided him with practical experience in financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation. His leadership skills were further honed by leading a project team to successful and accurate completion within deadlines. He also gained experience in marketing and customer relations during his time as an HRM Representative at Abitnetwork Company, a blockchain technology firm.
